Soundcore R60i Noise Cancelling Earbuds in Kenya
The Soundcore R60i NC price in Kenya is KSh 4,800. The Soundcore R60i NC is the latest budget-king from Anker, arriving in Kenya to dethrone its predecessor, the R50i NC. This isn’t just a minor refresh; it’s a massive leap forward. It brings premium features like Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification with LDAC support to the entry-level market, delivering sound quality that rivals earbuds costing twice as much.
The Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) has been supercharged to reduce noise by up to 42dB, creating a quiet sanctuary whether you are on a noisy matatu or in a busy office. With a staggering 50 hours of total playtime, IP55 dust and water resistance, and a specialized 2-in-1 case that doubles as a phone stand (feature continuity from R50i NC series), the R60i NC is the ultimate daily driver for value-focused Kenyan audiophiles. Why You’ll Love It
- Studio-Grade Sound: Unlike standard budget buds, these support the LDAC codec, allowing for 3x more data transmission. Combined with 11mm titanium-coated drivers, you get richer details and thumping bass.
- Silence the Chaos: The upgraded Adaptive ANC cuts out up to 42dB of background noise. It automatically adjusts to your environment, silencing the hum of an engine or the chatter of a cafe instantly.
- Week-Long Battery: With 10 hours of music on a single charge and 50 hours total with the case, you can survive a week of commuting and power blackouts without reaching for a charger.
- Crystal Clear Calls: Equipped with 6 beamforming microphones and AI algorithms, these buds isolate your voice from the wind and background noise, ensuring you sound professional during calls.
- Smart “Phone Stand” Case: The charging case features a clever hidden lip that pulls out to become a phone stand—perfect for watching movies or YouTube while you eat lunch.
- Gaming Ready: Activate Game Mode in the app to lower latency to just 50ms, ensuring that gunshots and footsteps in PUBG Mobile or Call of Duty sync perfectly with the on-screen action.

About Soundcore R60i NC
High-Fidelity Audio for Everyone
The standout feature of the R60i NC is the inclusion of LDAC technology. Usually reserved for flagship models like the Liberty 4, LDAC allows you to stream high-resolution audio over Bluetooth. When paired with the 11mm titanium-coated drivers, the result is a sound profile that is punchy yet detailed. The bass is deep and resonant—thanks to Anker’s BassUp technology—but the vocals remain crisp and clear. Whether you are listening to complex Afro-fusion tracks or bass-heavy Gengetone, these earbuds handle it with authority.
Next-Level Noise Cancellation
Soundcore has refined its ANC algorithm for the R60i NC. It offers Adaptive Noise Cancellation that detects external noise levels and adjusts the intensity accordingly. This is particularly effective in Nairobi’s dynamic environments—shifting from the low rumble of a bus engine to the high-pitched noise of a busy street seamlessly. If you need to hear a conductor or talk to a colleague, a quick tap activates Transparency Mode, letting the world back in without removing your buds.
Built for the Long Haul
Battery life is where Anker consistently leads the pack. The R60i NC offers a massive 10 hours of continuous playback on the buds alone. This is enough for a full workday or a travel day to Mombasa. The case holds an additional 4 charges, bringing the total to 50 hours. And if you do run flat, the fast-charging technology is incredibly efficient—a quick 10-minute charge gives you 4 hours of listening time.
The Soundcore App Advantage
The hardware is great, but the software makes it excellent. The Soundcore App is widely regarded as one of the best in the industry. It gives you full control over your listening experience. You can choose from 22 preset EQs, customize your own sound curve, customize the touch controls (e.g., set a triple tap to activate Voice Assistant), and even use the “Find My Buds” feature to emit a loud tone if you lose one in the sofa cushions.
Durable and Smart Design
The R60i NC is built to withstand the elements. With an IP55 rating, it is not just splash-proof but also dust-resistant, making it more durable than standard IPX4 earbuds. This means it can handle sweaty gym sessions or dusty hiking trails with ease. The design also includes the fan-favorite phone stand case, a small but ingenious feature that lets you prop up your phone on a table to watch videos hands-free.
Perfect for You
- The Audiophile on a Budget: If you want Hi-Res sound and LDAC without spending 15k+, this is the only option in this price range.
- The Commuter: The 42dB ANC and massive battery life make it the perfect companion for long, noisy trips.
- The Mobile Gamer: Low latency mode ensures you don’t die in-game because of audio lag.
