The Xiaomi Sound Party is a portable Bluetooth speaker with 50W rated output, a concealed carrying handle and optional colourful lighting. Its Black body has orange accents, while a dedicated woofer and tweeter reproduce lower and higher frequencies separately. This listing supplies one speaker; extra units for stereo or group playback are purchased separately.
The audio system combines a 35W woofer with a 15W tweeter. Harman AudioEFX tuning and Bass Boost mode provide its stated sound features. Published frequency range is 60Hz to 20kHz, with signal-to-noise ratio of at least 80dB. Volume, source material and placement influence the listening experience.
Bluetooth 5.4 connects compatible source devices, with a manufacturer-stated transmission distance of up to 25 metres under suitable conditions. NFC provides a quick pairing option for supported phones running Android 8.1 or later when the speaker uses its BT input. The built-in microphone also supports hands-free phone calls.
Two matching Sound Party speakers can operate as left and right stereo channels. Party Connect supports synchronised playback across up to 100 compatible units, with actual performance dependent on surrounding wireless conditions. Xiaomi advises that stereo music playback and video playback may have different synchronisation results because of device or network factors.
The 7.3V, 5200mAh battery supports approximately 26 hours of playback at 50% volume with lighting and Bass Boost disabled under laboratory conditions. USB charging accepts 5V/3A, 9V/2A or 12V/2A. Full charging takes approximately four hours with a 12V/2A charger. Reverse charging supplies up to 15W at 5V/3A, with a suitable three-amp cable needed for maximum performance.
Dimensions are 255 × 92 × 92mm and net weight is approximately 1200g. The IP67 rating provides dust and water resistance according to the instructions; keep charging connections dry and avoid charging in damp conditions.
