The Xiaomi Smart Ceiling Light D20 combines adjustable white lighting with radar and ambient-light sensing for suitable indoor spaces. The compact white fitting measures 250mm in diameter and 60mm deep. Xiaomi presents it for corridors, balconies and entryways less than three metres long, while its specification sheet limits the area of use to indoors. Choose a protected indoor installation rather than treating the product as an outdoor weatherproof light.
The light provides a specified output of 900 lumens at 4000K and full brightness. Colour temperature can be adjusted from 2700K to 5700K, allowing warmer or cooler white tones according to your preference. Rated input power is 17W, with a 100–240V supply at 50/60Hz and 0.17A. The approximate net weight is 0.57kg, making this the smaller fitting in the D-series range.
Built-in radar and light sensors support automatic lighting when a person enters and switching off after they leave. The radar function must be enabled in the Xiaomi Home app. Xiaomi notes that large pets, damp clothing or moving and operating household appliances within the sensing area can cause unintended switching or prevent the light from switching off. Consider nearby activity when selecting the position and configuring this feature.
Built-in Wi-Fi supports connection to Xiaomi Home for smart control. Compatible Alexa or Google Assistant equipment can provide another control method after the appropriate connected setup. Platform, language and region availability can vary. The Global product page states that a remote control is not included and may be sold separately, so the pictured remote should not be assumed to be part of this package.
The enclosed fitting has an IP50 dust-resistance rating and is intended for indoor use. Installation requires a wired power connection and a concrete ceiling. Xiaomi’s installation notice specifies that the opening for the live and neutral supply wires must be less than 65mm in diameter. Follow the supplied installation instructions and check these physical requirements before fitting it. The package includes the ceiling light, three expansion screws, a user manual and warranty notice.
