Soundcore Rave+ is a portable party speaker with 160W audio output, BassUp and a music-synchronised light show. Its Black body combines a tall speaker enclosure with a built-in rechargeable battery, making it suitable for parties and gatherings where a mains connection is not always convenient. The carrying handle helps you move the speaker between suitable listening positions.
Bluetooth 5.0 connects Rave+ to a compatible phone, tablet or other audio source. An AUX input provides an alternative wired connection, while the USB audio mode plays supported MP3 and WMA files from a suitable FAT32 flash drive. The source button switches between the available playback inputs. An audio cable and USB flash drive are purchased separately.
PartyCast links Rave+ with compatible soundcore speakers for shared music playback and lighting control. Set one unit as the primary speaker, then pair the additional units according to the supplied instructions. The primary speaker controls group volume and light modes. PartyCast group playback does not provide separate left and right stereo channels, and the earlier Soundcore Rave model cannot pair with Rave+.
For a wired arrangement, multiple Rave+ speakers can connect through an RCA party chain. A microphone can connect to the MIC port, with a dedicated microphone volume and echo control. The microphone and connection cables are sold separately. These connections give you options for music playback and voice use without assuming that wireless microphones are included.
The soundcore app provides custom equaliser settings, BassUp control, lighting effects, firmware updates and battery information. Its Light DJ and party-game functions add options for a gathering. The speaker’s light button cycles through music-synchronised effects and can switch them off when you prefer a simpler presentation.
The built-in battery supports up to 24 hours of playback, depending on volume and music content. Charging takes approximately five hours through the included AC power cord, with a rated mains input of 100–240V at 50/60Hz. The rear PowerIQ USB port also charges a compatible mobile device at up to 5V/2.1A; charging another device uses battery energy.
IPX4 protection covers splashes under the specified conditions. Keep electrical connections dry and follow the supplied instructions for charging and placement. This listing supplies one Rave+ speaker with its AC power cord; extra speakers, microphones and audio cables are purchased separately.
