Product details
The UGREEN right-angle USB-C cable connects a USB-C charger or power bank to a compatible phone, tablet or laptop. This one-metre version uses an angled connector to reduce the amount of cable projecting straight out of the device. It is useful when a charging port sits beside your hand during mobile gaming or close to another object on a desk.
The cable supports USB Power Delivery charging up to 100W, with a maximum output capability of 20V at 5A. Charging at that level requires both the connected device and power adapter to support the relevant Power Delivery setting. UGREEN also lists compatibility with lower charging powers, including 87W, 61W, 45W, 30W and 18W. The cable therefore accommodates different compatible devices without requiring every device to charge at its maximum rating.
An E-Marker chip supports stable power negotiation between the connected equipment. The cable also carries USB 2.0 data at up to 480Mbps for file transfers and synchronisation. It does not support video output, so it should be selected for charging and ordinary data transfer rather than a USB-C monitor connection. That distinction is particularly useful when comparing cables with similar connectors.
The double-layer nylon braid combines flexibility with reinforcement around the cable. UGREEN states that the design passed more than 10,000 bending tests. Gold-plated connector contacts are another construction detail identified by the manufacturer. The 90-degree connector can help avoid forcing the cable into a sharp bend immediately beside the device.
Check the clearance around your device before choosing an angled cable. UGREEN recommends a phone case thickness within 2.5mm; a thicker case may prevent the connector from seating properly and may need to be removed. For a compatible setup, this one-metre cable offers a convenient route beside a phone or laptop while retaining a defined 100W charging capability and USB 2.0 data connection.
