Product details
The UGREEN one-metre HDMI cable connects compatible video equipment through HDMI and supports the HD171 family’s HDMI 2.1 capabilities. It is intended for connections between suitable sources and displays, including televisions, projectors and computers. The one-metre supplier configuration is a separate product, with its own part number distinguishing it from the longer cables offered in the same family.
UGREEN identifies support for video up to 8K at 60Hz. The source, display and chosen settings must all support the required format for that capability to be used. A cable cannot increase the output resolution of a source or the resolution supported by a screen. Check the whole connection path when selecting equipment for a high-resolution video setup, including the HDMI sockets on both devices.
The cable is also compatible with HDMI 2.0 equipment. That allows it to be considered for an existing HDMI installation while retaining the supported capabilities of the connected devices. UGREEN lists televisions, projectors and laptops among the examples of suitable equipment. Select the video mode offered by the particular source and display rather than assuming that every HDMI connection provides the same resolution and refresh rate.
Tinned-copper conductors form part of the cable’s construction. The shielding arrangement uses foil, metal braid and a ground wire to address electrical interference around the signal path. UGREEN also identifies nickel-plated connector shells and an exterior combining PVC with a woven covering. These construction details describe the cable itself and should be considered alongside the distance and routing required for the installation.
The one-metre length is useful for nearby equipment where a short, defined connection can avoid a large amount of spare cable. Measure the route between the devices and allow room for safe bends and access to the sockets. Choose this version when the needed combination is a one-metre HDMI connection, the HD171 family’s supported high-resolution formats and a shielded cable design. Its length remains distinct from the other separately listed part numbers in the family.
