Product details
The UGREEN VGA to HDMI adapter connects a computer with VGA video output to a display that uses HDMI. It is designed for a VGA source, such as an older desktop or laptop, feeding an HDMI monitor, television or projector. The direction of conversion matters when choosing the adapter because the connector arrangement serves this particular connection path.
Video support reaches 1920 by 1080 pixels at 60Hz. That provides a Full HD connection for compatible equipment used in presentations, ordinary desktop work or video playback. The source computer and display must support the selected resolution and refresh rate. The adapter’s maximum capability should be checked alongside those devices instead of being treated as a way to add a display mode they cannot produce.
A 3.5-millimetre audio connection provides the accompanying sound path. VGA itself is a video connection, so audio needs to be considered separately when assembling the setup. UGREEN identifies synchronised audio and video as part of the adapter’s function. Check the audio connections of the computer and other equipment before connecting everything, particularly if separate speakers are part of the arrangement.
The USB-C auxiliary power input supports the conversion electronics. UGREEN identifies an HS600A chipset and electrostatic-discharge protection within the design. The housing combines PC and ABS materials, and the attached lead measures approximately 15 centimetres. That short lead places the conversion body close to the source connection without requiring the complete display cable to be built into the adapter.
UGREEN lists driver-free use for connecting VGA-equipped computers to compatible HDMI displays. The adapter is useful when an existing computer needs to work with a newer monitor or a meeting-room projector. Confirm the VGA-to-HDMI direction, plan the power connection and account for the audio path before use. The key combination is a defined Full HD conversion capability, separate audio support and a compact powered adapter format.
