Anker Zolo Charger provides a single USB-C connection with up to twenty watts of USB Power Delivery output. The compact adapter available in Black and White has a UK three-pin Type G plug and connects directly to an appropriate mains socket. It is a straightforward option for charging a compatible phone, tablet or small USB-C accessory with a suitable separate cable.
Anker’s technical specifications list two output profiles: five volts at three amps, supplying up to fifteen watts, and nine volts at 2.22 amps, supplying approximately twenty watts. The connected device negotiates the profile it supports. The twenty-watt figure is the maximum available output rather than a promise that every connected device will draw that amount continuously.
USB Power Delivery three provides the charging connection between the adapter and compatible equipment. Choose a cable with a USB-C connector at the charger end and the connector required by your receiving device. A compatible USB-C to Lightning lead can connect an appropriate Lightning device, while a USB-C to USB-C lead suits equipment using that connector. Charging cables are purchased separately for this charger-only offer.
Actual charging speed depends on the device, cable, battery condition and operating circumstances. Equipment that requires a higher-power adapter may charge more slowly or may need its own suitable charger. This unit has one output port, so it supplies one connected device at a time. It does not provide simultaneous charging through multiple USB connections.
The manufacturer’s listed mains input is one hundred to two hundred and forty volts AC, 0.6 amps, at fifty to sixty hertz. The input range and physical socket format are separate requirements: the UK three-pin plug must still fit an appropriate socket. Keep the connection accessible so the adapter can be disconnected when required.
