Product details
The UGREEN video capture card connects an HDMI video source to a compatible USB host for recording or display. It provides a way to bring footage from equipment such as a camera, game console or computer into another device. The USB-A and USB-C connection options make the host arrangement an important part of choosing the correct setup.
The HDMI input supports signals up to 4K at 30Hz, while the capture output reaches 1080p at 60Hz. These are different stages of the connection: accepting a 4K signal does not mean the card records that signal at 4K. Choose the input and capture settings with that distinction in mind, particularly when comparing a source device’s maximum output with the recording format required.
Audio and video are captured together through the supported connection. UGREEN identifies cameras, Switch, PS5 and computers among the example source equipment. The source’s video output and the host software must still be configured appropriately for the intended use. A capture card supplies the connection hardware; the recording or display application determines how the incoming material is handled.
A compatible Android phone or tablet can also be used as a portable display with the required application. That option is useful when checking a camera feed or displaying a supported game-console output on a mobile screen. Confirm the mobile device’s USB support and the application requirements before selecting this arrangement. It should not be assumed to work identically on every phone with a USB-C connector.
The aluminium alloy housing weighs approximately 30 grams, making the card easy to add to a compact capture kit. The metal body forms part of its thermal and structural design. Choose this model when the needed combination is HDMI input, a defined Full HD capture capability and flexible USB host connections. Plan the source, host and software together, then select supported video settings for the recording or display task you intend to carry out.
