The Xiaomi Smart Laser Measure is a compact device for checking distances when planning rooms, furniture or household projects. Its single-button design allows one-handed operation, while the 1.23-inch LCD shows the current result, a previous reading, the measurement reference, battery status and Bluetooth connection. The aluminium-alloy and engineering-plastic body has a matte finish.
The specified measurement range is 0.05 to 40 metres. The minimum 0.05-metre distance uses the front reference point. A double press changes between front and rear references, helping account for how the device is positioned against a surface. Hold it steadily and use a clear reflective target for consistent results.
Xiaomi describes measurement precision using the formula plus or minus three millimetres plus a distance-dependent term of five times ten to the minus five multiplied by the measured distance. The display’s minimum unit is 0.001m. Strong sunlight, temperature changes, low battery power, reflective glass or unclear targets can affect measurements, so the headline three-millimetre figure is not an unconditional accuracy guarantee.
Bluetooth connects the device to Xiaomi Home for additional functions. The app supports saving readings, adding notes, calculating length, area and volume, and marking measurements on floor plans or photographs. A compatible phone can also trigger measurements remotely. Xiaomi lists approximately eight metres of Bluetooth transmission in an unobstructed setting, and the app needs a supported current version.
A long press of about two seconds switches the device on or off. Short presses start or finish the measurement, and double presses change the reference. The Class II laser uses a wavelength of 630 to 680nm. Follow the laser-use instructions and avoid looking directly into the beam or directing it towards another person’s eyes.
The measure is approximately 80 by 35 by 21mm and weighs around 60g. A 370mAh lithium-ion battery is rated at 3.7V, with USB Type-C charging at 5V and 1A. Charging takes approximately 100 minutes under the specified conditions. Automatic shutdown is set at 180 seconds. The official package includes the laser measure, charging cable, user manual and warranty card. Keep the optical openings clean and follow the manual for charging, storage and operation.
