A brushless DC motor works with two layers of wing-shaped blades: seven outside and five inside. Direct ventilation and a natural-breeze simulation provide different airflow patterns. Xiaomi reports a maximum airflow of 20.28 cubic metres per minute and a reach of up to 14 metres under its stated laboratory conditions. Compatible voice-assistant control requires a separate smart device and depends on service availability. The fan supports a child lock and can participate in supported Xiaomi Home scenes with separately purchased devices.
