Logitech M190 Price in Kenya
The Logitech M190 Wireless Mouse price in Kenya is Ksh 1,700. This is the game-changer for anyone who finds standard portable mice too small or cramping. If you have medium to large hands, or if you simply prefer the stability of a full-size desktop mouse without the wires, the M190 is built specifically for you. It bridges the gap between budget compact mice and expensive ergonomic gear, offering you “Big Comfort” at a remarkably small price.
Efficiency is where the M190 shines. It boasts an incredible 18-month battery life—that’s one and a half years of usage on a single AA battery. Combined with its power-saving mode, you might actually forget it runs on batteries at all. The 1000 DPI sensor delivers smooth, lag-free tracking that works on almost any surface, from a glass coffee table to a rough wooden desk.

Why You’ll Love It
- Full-Size Comfort: The elongated body supports your entire palm, so that you can work for 8+ hours straight without the hand cramps common with smaller “travel” mice.
- 18-Month Endurance: It is engineered to last 1.5 years on one battery, so that you have total peace of mind and zero interruptions during critical projects.
- Scooped Buttons: The left and right buttons have a subtle “spoon” curve, so that your fingers settle naturally into the perfect clicking position every time.
- Lag-Free 10 Meters: The powerful wireless connection works across the room, so that you can control a presentation or a movie on your TV from the comfort of your sofa
- Precision Scrolling: The scroll wheel is designed for line-by-line accuracy, so that you don’t accidentally scroll past the paragraph you’re trying to read in a long PDF.
- Immediate Setup: It uses a simple USB receiver, so that you can plug it into any computer (School PC, Cyber Café, or Personal Laptop) and start working instantly without IT help.
Logitech M190 Specifications
The “Full-Size” Difference
In Kenya, most budget wireless mice are “compact” or “travel” size (like the M185). While great for a backpack, they force your hand into a “claw” grip. The M190 is different. It is significantly longer (115mm vs 99mm) and wider. This follows the natural curve of a medium-to-large hand. If you have ever felt pain in your knuckles after a long day of typing, it’s likely because your mouse was too small. The M190 fixes this by allowing your palm to rest fully on the device, shifting the movement from your wrist to your arm, which is much healthier ergonomically.
18-Month Battery Life
Logitech has optimized the energy efficiency of the M190 to an extreme degree. While standard mice last 6-12 months, the M190 pushes this to 18 months. This is achieved through an aggressive “deep sleep” mode. The millisecond you stop moving the mouse, it throttles down its power usage. You don’t need to flip the switch on the bottom every time you step away for tea. For a busy Kenyan professional or student, this means you buy one battery, install it, and likely won’t need another one until the next year and a half.
Scoop Design Buttons
If you look closely at the left and right buttons, they aren’t flat. They are slightly concave (scooped). This is a premium design feature usually found in expensive gaming mice. It guides your fingers to the center of the button where the switch is most responsive. This subtle “tech” ensures that every click feels crisp and distinct, reducing the chance of “missed clicks” or accidental double-clicks when dragging files.
Robust Wireless Connectivity
The M190 uses a dedicated USB receiver that operates on the 2.4 GHz frequency. Unlike Bluetooth, which can be finicky with older Windows 7 machines or Linux builds often found in developer environments, the USB receiver is universal. It provides a “hard-line” feel with no cursor lag. The 10-meter range is genuine—you can easily use this mouse to control a CCTV DVR system from across the room or navigate Netflix on a laptop connected to a TV.
Ambidextrous for Everyone
Despite being a full-size mouse, the M190 is perfectly symmetrical. This is rare for large mice, which are usually molded strictly for right-handers. The M190 is a democratic device; it works equally well for left-handed users. This makes it an excellent choice for shared workspaces, family computers, or school labs where you don’t know who will be using the station next.
Who Is This Perfect For?
The “Big Hand” User: You have struggled with tiny laptop mice that feel like toys in your hand. You need something substantial that you can actually grip comfortably.
The Desktop Warrior: You work from a fixed desk (office or home) and don’t need a tiny travel mouse. You prioritize comfort and ergonomics over portability.
The Budget-Conscious Professional: You want the ergonomics of a Ksh 5,000 MX Master mouse but only have a Ksh 1,500 budget. The M190 gives you 80% of that comfort for 20% of the price.
Alternatives & Competitors
- Logitech M185: Smaller, more portable, but less comfortable for long use.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
- Is the M190 Bluetooth or USB? It is USB only. It comes with a small USB dongle that you plug into your computer. It does not have Bluetooth.
- Will this fit my hand? If you have medium to large hands, yes. If you have very small hands (e.g., a child), you might find the M185 or M171 more comfortable
- Does it work on glass? It works on most surfaces, but for clear glass, you might need a mousepad. The optical sensor is good, but not “Darkfield” (laser) level.
- Are the buttons silent? No, the M190 has a standard “click” sound. It provides good tactile feedback. For a silent mouse, look for the Logitech M330 or M220.
- What comes in the box? The box contains the Mouse, 1 AA Battery (pre-installed), the USB Receiver (usually inside the mouse or in the box flap), and the user documentation.
