The EufyCam 2C Pro 2K Add-On Camera extends a compatible eufy Security camera system with one rechargeable outdoor camera. It requires a HomeBase 1 or HomeBase 2 to operate. HomeBase is not supplied with this add-on listing, and the camera will not work as a standalone Wi-Fi camera without the required hub.
The camera records a published 2K image for live viewing and event playback through the connected security system. Human detection uses body shape and face-pattern information to help distinguish people from other movement. Adjustable detection zones let you choose the parts of the view that should trigger motion activity. Configure the monitoring area in the eufy Security app after checking the installation position.
Night viewing offers an infrared setting and colour illumination using the built-in spotlight. Available light, distance and placement affect the useful picture. Test both the daytime view and the selected night setting, avoiding nearby objects that block the lens or reflect light directly back towards it.
The rechargeable battery has a published capacity of 6700mAh. Eufy states up to 180 days of operation from a charge and approximately five hours for recharging. Quality settings, event frequency, alerts and notifications affect actual runtime. Select suitable app settings and follow the charging instructions rather than treating the maximum battery-life figure as a fixed service interval.
An IP67 rating supports outdoor use according to the manufacturer’s installation guidance. The wireless battery arrangement avoids a permanent camera power cable, while the included mount provides the installation point. Choose a secure location with a reliable connection to the HomeBase system and access for charging or maintenance.
Two-way audio supports speaking through the camera from the connected app. Recordings use the HomeBase system’s local storage; compatible smart integration includes Apple HomeKit, Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. Push notifications with thumbnail previews temporarily store preview images in the cloud. The package contains one EufyCam 2C Pro camera, a mount, a Micro USB charging cable and a user manual.
