The Xiaomi Smart Air Fryer 5.5L brings adjustable hot-air cooking and connected recipe control to your kitchen. This is the white UK version listed by the supplier. It measures 286 × 386 × 291mm and has a net weight of 5.1kg. Check these product dimensions against the intended countertop space before setting it up.
The appliance has a rated power of 1600W and operates on 220–240V at 50–60Hz. Its adjustable temperature range is 40–220°C, covering both lower-temperature preparation and hotter roasting or air frying. Built-in NTC temperature monitoring helps regulate heat during cooking. Cooking times and temperatures should be adjusted for the ingredients, quantity and desired result.
A 6.8-inch transparent window lets you check food without pulling out the basket. The interactive display uses a spinning and tapping control, with 12 built-in recipes. A dual-speed fan and the updated basket design circulate heated air towards the bottom of the basket. Xiaomi describes this as flip-free cooking.
The rated basket capacity remains 5.5 litres. The supplied grill supports food on two levels inside the basket without changing that litre rating. A dedicated degrease setting is available for chicken wings, lamb chops and steak modes. Choose the relevant recipe and check your food rather than assuming one setting suits every ingredient.
Connect the fryer to Xiaomi Home or Mi Home to access more than 100 recipes and compatible app controls. Google Assistant support requires a compatible device and availability in your country and language. Up to 24-hour scheduling is supported, except for yoghurt and dried fruit modes. Automatic warming lasts up to 30 minutes, but is unavailable below 80°C and in vegetables, yoghurt, defrost and dried fruit modes. Removing the basket automatically stops cooking.
Let the appliance cool before cleaning and follow the supplied manual. Avoid steel wool and other metal cleaning materials because they may damage the non-stick coating. Keep the rear ventilation area clear when positioning the fryer. The package contains the air fryer, basket, grill and user manual.
