Product details
The Xiaomi Handheld Garment Steamer provides a compact way to smooth clothing at home or while travelling with a suitable electricity supply. Its handle folds for storage, changing the dimensions from 172.5 × 92 × 237mm when unfolded to 243 × 92 × 108mm when folded. The White steamer weighs approximately 770g with an empty water tank, with a stated test variation of ±5%. A 1.9-metre power cord provides reach from the socket.
The die-cast aluminium ironing panel has a ceramic enamel coating. The panel maintains temperature while steam passes through the head, and the appliance supports both vertical and horizontal steaming. Vertical use suits hanging garments, while horizontal use allows work on a suitable supported surface. Check the garment’s care instructions before applying heat or steam. Xiaomi specifically advises against steaming leather and gives additional precautions for silk, wool and synthetic fabrics.
Heating takes approximately 26 seconds in the manufacturer’s test. The indicator flashes while heating and becomes steady when ready. Pressing the steam button releases steam, and releasing it stops the flow. The stated 30kPa steam pressure is a laboratory measurement at the middle steam outlet after heating and continuous operation. Actual pressure and steaming results vary with conditions. The steamer head has an approximately five-degree angle, intended to make the grip and ironing position comfortable.
The detachable water tank is nominally 160mL. Xiaomi reports steaming six shirts from one full tank under its test conditions, but fabric, technique and the amount of steaming affect the practical result. Monitor the water level and refill according to the supplied instructions. The appliance is rated at 1,300W with a 220–240V, 50–60Hz input. Its package includes the garment steamer, water tank, user manual and guarantee card. Allow the hot panel to cool before folding or storing the appliance. Use a suitable protective cloth where the manufacturer’s fabric guidance requires it, and keep steam and the heated head away from hands and other exposed skin.
