The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Lite (2nd Gen) combines a folding carbon-steel frame with a rated 300W brushless motor. Its Black body is supported by 10-inch pneumatic tyres, with a maximum rider load of 100kg. This second-generation Lite model has its own battery, braking and frame specifications, which should be checked when choosing a scooter for your intended use.
Xiaomi lists a maximum travel range of 25km and a maximum speed of 25km/h under manufacturer test conditions. Pedestrian mode is limited to 6km/h, Standard mode to 15km/h and Sport mode to 25km/h. The motor’s maximum power is 500W, with a stated maximum incline of 15%. Actual distance, speed and hill performance vary with rider load, temperature, terrain and battery charge.
The battery stores 221Wh of energy according to the UK specification table. Charging takes approximately eight hours using the supplied adapter. The battery management system includes protection against overcharging, over-discharge, overvoltage, excessive temperature, short circuits and overcurrent. Charge only within the specified temperature range of zero to 45 degrees Celsius and follow the supplied charging instructions.
A front drum brake works with rear E-ABS for braking. The headlight improves visibility in low light, while the rear light provides a visible braking signal. The scooter connects to the Xiaomi Home app for supported functions including remaining power, estimated mileage, energy recovery and motor locking. App features depend on successful pairing and the relevant regional service.
The scooter weighs 16.2kg. Xiaomi’s dimension diagram shows a length of 1141mm and an unfolded height of 1219mm. Folded dimensions are 1141 × 440 × 530mm. Folding helps reduce storage height, but the complete weight still needs to be considered when carrying it. The rated rider height is 120–200cm, with a manufacturer age range of 16–50 years.
The whole scooter has IPX4 splash resistance. Avoid rain, puddles and immersion, and read the manual before riding. Check tyres, brakes and the folding lock before use, and observe local riding rules. The package includes the scooter, power adapter, Allen key, extension nozzle, seven screws and the manufacturer’s documentation.
