The Anker 310 USB-C Adapter connects a compatible USB-C device to a television, monitor or projector with an HDMI input. It provides one HDMI output and a short integrated braided cable. The compact aluminium housing fits easily alongside a laptop or tablet, making it useful for presentations, an additional desktop display or viewing supported content on a larger screen.
Its HDMI 2.0 connection supports resolutions up to 4K at 60Hz. Lower supported modes include 4K at 30Hz, 2K at 60Hz and Full HD at 60Hz. The manufacturer’s specification table also lists HDR support and HDCP 2.2. The available resolution and refresh rate depend on the source device, HDMI cable and display; connecting the adapter does not upgrade a screen’s own capabilities.
The source device must support video output through its USB-C port using DisplayPort Alt Mode. A USB-C connector alone does not establish this capability. Consult the device’s specifications before ordering. Anker lists compatible examples including selected MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, Dell XPS, Pixelbook and Galaxy models. Compatibility applies to the listed generations and supported ports, rather than every device in those families.
The adapter supports mirroring or extending a display where the source operating system provides those options. Plug-and-play operation avoids a separate driver installation for normal supported use. Connect a suitable HDMI cable to the adapter and select the corresponding input on the display. The HDMI cable, computer and display shown in manufacturer photographs are separate equipment.
There is no charging pass-through function. This is a single-purpose video adapter, with no additional USB data ports, card reader or Ethernet socket. Anker’s FAQ states that output is limited to 2K at 60Hz when used with an iPad Pro. Actual output options should be checked on the connected tablet and external display.
The listed adapter dimensions are 1.97 × 0.85 × 0.45 inches, with a weight of 0.64 ounces. The lightweight aluminium casing assists heat dissipation, while the reinforced braided-nylon lead is designed for everyday bending and handling. The package contains the adapter and a welcome guide. Follow the guide when connecting and disconnecting it, and avoid pulling directly on the cable.
