Product details
The Anker USB-C Hub (5-in-1, 4K HDMI) expands a compatible computer connection into five useful ports. Its Gray enclosure includes an attached USB-C host cable, keeping the main connection with the hub. Use it to connect an external display, USB accessories and a separate laptop charger through a compact adapter.
One HDMI port supports video output up to four-kilopixel resolution at thirty hertz. Mirror the computer screen or extend the desktop when supported by the connected device. The host’s USB-C connection must support DisplayPort Alt Mode for video output. The connector shape alone does not establish display compatibility, so check the computer’s port capabilities before connecting a monitor.
The USB-C Power Delivery input accepts a compatible external charger. With a suitable one-hundred-watt charger and cable, the hub can pass up to ninety watts to the host computer, reserving ten watts for its own operation. Actual charging power depends on the charger, cable and laptop. The wall charger and charging cable are separate items.
Three USB-A ports provide data connections with different speed limits. The USB 3.0 port supports up to five gigabits per second, while the two USB 2.0 ports support up to four hundred and eighty megabits per second. Choose the faster port for suitable storage drives and the lower-speed ports for compatible peripherals. Actual transfer rates depend on the connected devices and shared resources.
The USB-C Power Delivery input is dedicated to charging the host. It does not provide a separate data or video connection for another accessory. The USB-A ports are data ports, rather than charging or display outputs. These distinct functions make it easier to plan which equipment belongs on each connection.
Anker’s Japan specifications list an enclosure approximately 120 by 30 by 12 millimetres, a cable approximately twenty-five centimetres long and a weight of about fifty-six grams. Supported systems include compatible Windows, macOS and ChromeOS devices, with DisplayPort Alt Mode and Power Delivery required for the relevant functions. Linux, Nintendo Switch, Apple USB SuperDrive and Google Pixel 9 or 7 series are listed as unsupported. The package contains the hub and user documentation.
