Product details
Eufy eufyCam C35 Solo is a compact battery-powered camera for compatible indoor or outdoor monitoring. This White version supplies one camera, with local recording available through a separately purchased microSD card. It can connect directly to your router, so a HomeBase is optional for the basic camera setup. The single-camera package should be distinguished from multi-camera kits that include a HomeBase or solar panels.
The camera records in 1080p, with a 135-degree field of view listed in Eufy’s product comparison. The official support specification gives a maximum of 15 frames per second. PureColor night vision is the default low-light mode, while the model-specific guide also provides Spotlight and Infrared options. Select the appropriate mode in the app and position the lens for an unobstructed view of the intended area.
Human, vehicle and pet detection are supported, with human detection enabled by default. Facial recognition and some additional storage and camera coordination functions require connection to a compatible HomeBase. The manual identifies HomeBase Mini and HomeBase 3 as compatible. These devices are separate from the Solo package. Detection performance depends on placement, lighting, distance and the settings you choose.
The rechargeable 6500mAh battery charges through USB-C. The guide describes approximately four hours of charging with a suitable 5V, 2A adapter. Fully charge the camera before mounting, then check its charge level in the eufy app. Recording modes balance battery life against event length; choosing longer event clips reduces overall battery duration. No fixed battery-life promise should replace those usage conditions.
Direct network setup requires 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. Without a HomeBase, insert a microSD card of up to 256GB into the camera for local storage. When using HomeBase Mini, the guide describes storage expansion in that device up to 1TB. Cards are not included. Configure recording, notifications and alarms in the app, and check that the selected security mode enables the functions you need.
The camera has IP67 protection and should remain upright when installed, as instructed by the manufacturer. The magnetic bracket provides mounting options, with screw mounting available for suitable surfaces. Choose a position with a strong Wi-Fi signal and adjust the camera angle after removing the protective film. The single-camera kit includes the mounting bracket, base and screw pack; bracket design can vary. Follow the supplied guide for installation and charging.
