The Xiaomi 6A High-speed USB4 Braided USB-C to USB-C Cable combines charging, data transfer and video support in a one-metre lead. Its Dark Gray braided covering surrounds a USB-C connection at each end. This makes it suitable for compatible USB-C equipment where the cable’s capabilities match the ports being used. Check the device and charger requirements when selecting a connection, because the same connector shape can be used by equipment with different supported features.
Xiaomi specifies a maximum transmission speed of 40Gbps. That gives this USB4 cable a different data capability from a basic 480Mbps charging and transfer lead. The connected computers, storage devices and other equipment must support the required mode to use its full transfer capability. Actual transfer speeds also depend on the workload and the performance of the devices. Choose the cable according to the data standard required by the equipment rather than judging it by appearance alone.
The manufacturer also lists video transmission up to 8K at 60Hz. A compatible display connection and source device are required, with the available resolution and refresh rate determined by the complete setup. For charging, Xiaomi states a maximum output power of 240W and a rated current of 6A in its specifications. Those are the manufacturer’s listed ratings. They do not mean that every connected phone or laptop will receive that power: the charger, device and negotiated charging mode determine the actual charging output.
The cable is made using braiding, TPE and stainless steel. Its one-metre length works where the connected devices are placed close together, such as a laptop beside a monitor or a phone near its charger. Leave enough space at the ports to avoid pulling on the connectors. Hold the connector when unplugging, and avoid sharply folding the braided lead. Keep the connector contacts clean and dry. When storing the cable, form a gentle loop so it is ready for the next charging, transfer or supported display connection.
