The Xiaomi Karaoke Microphone combines vocal pickup and built-in playback speakers in a compact handheld unit. Two opposed 5W speakers and passive bass elements provide the sound output, while a 16mm cardioid pickup core captures your voice. This arrangement lets compatible backing audio and your vocals play through the microphone itself for personal karaoke sessions.
A dedicated karaoke DSP chip processes the vocals with echo and reverb effects. Xiaomi describes dynamic voice optimisation, EQ processing, intelligent noise reduction and feedback-suppression algorithms. These features help shape the output, but the result still depends on the recording environment, microphone position and selected settings. Nine preset sound effects provide different vocal styles, including KTV, pop, soft, folk, acoustic and playful voice effects.
Bluetooth 5.1 provides a direct wireless connection, with a specified working distance of up to ten metres under suitable conditions. The microphone pairs directly with a phone rather than requiring the Xiaomi Home app. Xiaomi’s support page also describes compatibility with supported Xiaomi TVs, subject to firmware and connection support. It does not support connection to computers or notebook speakers. Check the device’s Bluetooth pairing support before planning a session.
The body measures 96 × 96 × 226mm. A flocking foam microphone cover helps reduce popping sounds, and the supplied product design includes a vertical base with a charging-cable slot. Headphone monitoring and a recording interface provide additional connection options. These functions should be used according to the product’s instructions and the requirements of the connected recording device.
The internal lithium-ion battery has a nominal capacity of 2500mAh at 3.6V. Xiaomi specifies up to seven hours of continuous use, tested at 31°C in acoustic mode and 70% volume. Actual runtime varies with the environment, volume and audio source. Charging uses USB-C with a rated input of 5V, 2A. Charge the microphone using suitable equipment, then choose the required vocal effect and playback volume. The official product pages reviewed do not list full package contents, so separate adapters and recording leads are not promised with this product.
