The Xiaomi Smart Scale S200 combines a digital weighing platform with Bluetooth connectivity for the Xiaomi Home app. The scale measures 280 × 280 × 24.5mm and weighs 1.2kg. Tempered glass and engineering plastic form its casing, with rounded edges and a curved base. This product is available in White and Dark Grey, with the same weighing functions in either finish.
An E-shaped manganese steel sensor supports a weighing range from 0.1kg to 150kg. The minimum displayed increment is 0.05kg, and measurements can use kilograms or pounds. The scale can weigh people and suitable small objects. For an object weighing 5kg or less, Xiaomi instructs the user to activate the scale first by stepping on it, then place the object after the display returns to zero. Objects above 5kg can be placed directly on the platform.
Bluetooth Low Energy 5.4 connects the scale to a compatible phone. The supported phone requirements are Android 8.0 or iOS 12.0 and later. Use Xiaomi Home for pairing and measurement records; the manufacturer’s setup instructions say that Mi Fitness and Zepp Life are not supported. Guest measurements are available without storing the guest’s data. The app also provides a weighing-with-baby mode and weight reports showing recorded trends over time.
The manufacturer describes support for up to 36 user profiles across the main account and shared accounts. A compatible Bluetooth gateway, purchased separately, can synchronise measurements when the phone app is not connected. Direct Bluetooth operation does not require purchasing that gateway. App functions depend on successful pairing, software and regional availability.
Three AAA batteries provide the specified 4.5V supply, and rated power is 450mW. Xiaomi reports battery life of up to 180 days under its stated test conditions; actual duration varies with use and environment. Operating temperature is 0°C to 40°C. The published package list includes the scale, user manual and warranty card. The scale is intended for reference measurements rather than medical diagnosis or treatment.
