Product details
The Xiaomi TV Stick 4K (2nd Gen) adds Google TV to a compatible HDMI display. Its slim body connects to a television, monitor or projector with an HDMI input and uses a separate USB power connection. It is a 4K streaming device, with the second generation retained as part of its product identity.
The platform uses a quad-core Cortex-A55 CPU and ARM G310 V2 GPU, with 2GB RAM and 8GB storage. Google TV organises supported apps and subscriptions into a viewing interface with recommendations and profiles. Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and YouTube are pre-installed. Internet access and a Google Account are required, and services can require a subscription, purchase or download.
The stick supports 4K decoding, Dolby Vision and HDR10+ picture formats. Supported content and compatible playback equipment are needed to use those formats. Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and DTS HD audio decoding similarly depend on the content and connected audio equipment. These capabilities do not convert every programme or display into the highest supported format.
Dual-band Wi-Fi uses 2.4GHz and 5GHz, with Wi-Fi 6 support when connected to a compatible router. Bluetooth 5.2 connects the included voice remote. Press the remote’s Google Assistant button to use supported voice functions; availability depends on language, country and service support. Google Cast-enabled apps can send supported content from a phone or tablet.
Video decoder support includes AV1, VP9, H.265, H.264, MPEG-4, MPEG-2 and MPEG-1. The device has one HDMI connection and one Micro USB power connection. Check the display input, network signal and available space before installation. Use the supplied extension cable when it provides a better physical fit behind the display.
The Black stick measures 107.4 × 30 × 14mm and weighs approximately 44g. The package contains the stick, remote control, power adapter, user manual, HDMI extension cable and USB power cable. Follow the setup instructions to connect power, pair the remote and configure Google TV. App catalogues, channels and content differ by region and remain subject to each service’s availability.
