The Xiaomi Wireless Mouse Lite 2 is a compact wireless mouse for everyday computer work. Its streamlined shape keeps the controls straightforward, with left and right buttons and a middle scroll wheel. Black and White are alternative finishes of the same Lite 2 hardware. This is a separate model from the Wireless Mouse 3 and the first-generation Wireless Mouse Lite.
The enclosure measures 108.5 by 57.5 by 35.6mm and weighs approximately 45g without a battery. Xiaomi lists PC, ABS and metal among its materials. The curved body is designed to suit different grips and hand sizes, making it a practical companion for browsing, documents and other routine tasks. Its light construction keeps the weight low before a battery is installed.
A 1000 DPI precision sensor provides responsive positioning. Xiaomi’s UK support information identifies the sensor as infrared, so the absence of a conventional visible light at the lens does not by itself indicate a fault. A suitable mouse pad and a clean sensor opening help support consistent movement. Avoid liquids and highly reflective or transparent working surfaces.
The Lite 2 connects through a 2.4GHz USB receiver. There is no Bluetooth mode listed for this product, so a computer needs an available compatible USB connection for the receiver. The receiver can be stored in the compartment beneath the mouse when travelling or when the mouse is not in use. Keep the receiver with the mouse to avoid misplacing this necessary connection accessory.
TTC microswitches provide quick feedback from the buttons. The middle wheel delivers tactile and audible feedback as it is turned, helping with movement through long documents and pages. This model should not be described as the silent-click Wireless Mouse 3. PTFE feet reduce friction and help the mouse move smoothly over an appropriate desktop surface.
An AA battery supplies power, and the rated input is 1.5V and 50mA. The battery is replaceable; the mouse is not presented as a rechargeable USB device. Xiaomi lists compatibility with Windows 7, macOS 10.13 and newer versions, and an operating temperature range of 0 to 40 degrees Celsius.
