Product details
The Xiaomi Router AX1500 brings dual-band wireless networking and flexible Gigabit Ethernet connections to a home or small workspace. Its white body has four high-gain antennas, two status indicators and separate reset and mesh buttons. The router measures 247 × 143.5 × 178.7mm, so allow room for the antennas and keep the unit in an open, ventilated position rather than inside a closed cupboard.
Its 2.4GHz radio supports a theoretical maximum of 300Mbps using a 2 × 2 configuration, while the 5GHz radio supports Wi-Fi 6 with a theoretical maximum of 1201Mbps. These figures describe wireless link capabilities across the two bands; they do not promise that a single device or an internet connection will reach their combined total. Actual performance depends on your broadband service, client hardware, interference, distance and building layout.
Four adaptive 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet ports can automatically handle WAN or LAN roles. This makes it easier to connect an upstream modem or network and wired devices without relying on a fixed port arrangement. The supplied network cable helps with initial connection. Wireless features include OFDMA and BSS colouring, although their benefits depend on compatible devices and the surrounding network.
Management is available through a web interface or the Xiaomi Home app on Android and iOS. The router runs MiWiFi ROM and supports WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK and WPA3-SAE encryption. Choose the security mode that your connected devices support. Xiaomi mesh networking can connect up to ten compatible routers with suitable firmware; seamless roaming also depends on client support for the relevant roaming protocols.
The package contains one router, a network cable, a power adaptor, a warranty card and a user manual. This listing follows the EU inventory entry and does not promise a particular plug shape beyond that source designation. The specified operating range is 0–40°C with 10–90% relative humidity, without condensation. Position the router near the centre of the area you want to cover, then check signal quality in the rooms where you use it most.
