The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum Anti-tangle Side Brush pack contains two replacement brushes for compatible cleaners. Xiaomi’s specification page lists Robot Vacuum S40, H40, S40 Pro, 5 and 5 Pro. The Black brush uses curved, scimitar-shaped arms to collect dust along edges and in corners. It works within the robot’s existing cleaning assembly, helping gather debris toward the main cleaning path.
The anti-tangle design reduces the likelihood of hair becoming wrapped around the side brush during cleaning. Xiaomi explains that actual performance varies with the cleaning environment. The design can reduce the need for manual removal of tangled material, but it does not remove the need to inspect and maintain the cleaner. Hair length, debris and operating conditions can all influence the cleaning result.
Each side brush weighs approximately 5.2g. The stated item dimensions are 47.2 × 137.7 × 137.7mm. These values describe an individual brush, rather than the entire two-pack or the robot. The central hub and curved arms form one replacement component. Product photographs show the complete brush, with the hub and bristle tips visible, to help distinguish it from earlier straight-arm designs.
The package includes two anti-tangle side brushes and one user manual. The second brush is a spare replacement; the pack quantity does not mean that every compatible robot uses two brushes at once. Install only the arrangement required by your cleaner. The robot, station, central roller, mop pads and filters are separate products and are not included here.
Switch off the robot before working around the underside. Use its instructions and the supplied accessory manual to remove the existing brush and fit the replacement at the intended mounting point. Check that the component is securely seated before returning the robot to use. Inspect the arms and bristles during normal maintenance and replace damaged or excessively worn parts.
This is a passive maintenance accessory, with no independent battery, charger, suction motor or wireless connection. Compatibility should be checked against the exact cleaner model, rather than the brush’s colour alone. Keep unused replacements clean and dry until needed. Follow the robot manual for its specific fitting procedure, care guidance and recommended replacement interval.
