Anker 622 Magnetic Battery (MagGo) Upgraded Version combines a 5,000mAh portable battery with magnetic wireless charging and a folding phone stand. This A1614 version places its USB-C connection on the side of the body. The Black finish has a compact rectangular shape that attaches to a suitable compatible iPhone and folds flat when the stand is no longer needed.
The magnetic charging surface supplies up to 7.5 watts wirelessly. Anker describes compatibility with supported iPhone models from the iPhone 12 generation onward using a suitable magnetic case. A case without the required magnetic arrangement can interfere with attachment and charging. Cards, keys and other unsuitable metal accessories should not sit between the phone and charging surface.
The folding kickstand supports viewing the phone while it charges. Position the assembled phone and battery on a stable surface, and check that the stand sits securely before use. The manufacturer does not recommend this battery’s fit for iPhone 12 mini or iPhone 13 mini. Check the phone dimensions and camera area when selecting a magnetic accessory.
The side USB-C port supports both wired output and recharging. Its published input and output specification is five volts at 2.4 amps, equivalent to twelve watts. Use a suitable adapter and cable when recharging. The bank does not charge two separate devices simultaneously; a device connected by cable takes priority over the wireless connection.
The internal battery stores 19.25 watt-hours at a nominal 3.85 volts. Cell capacity describes stored energy rather than the exact amount delivered to a phone. Wireless transmission, voltage conversion, temperature and device use affect available charging. Check the battery indicators before leaving a charging point and recharge when the remaining level becomes low.
The body measures 105 by 66.5 by 12.8mm and weighs approximately 140g. MiniCell technology supports the compact design, while MultiProtect provides the manufacturer’s charging-protection system. Follow the supplied instructions, keep the charging surfaces dry and protect the folding stand from damage. The mains adapter is separate; confirm the supplied loose-cable contents when preparing the charging setup.
