The HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 3303fdn combines print, copy, scan, fax in an A4 desktop device. Its colour printing handles mixed text, charts and images alongside everyday documents. The combination of printing, scanning and copying reduces the need for separate desktop devices and keeps document handling in one place.
Printing and paper handling
ISO A4 print speeds are up to 25 ppm black (iso a4); up to 25 ppm colour (iso a4). The print system supports up to 600 x 600 dpi black; up to 600 x 600 dpi colour. Use the appropriate paper type and print-quality setting when changing between document layouts, photographs or graphics.
Automatic two-sided printing turns the paper inside the printer, making it easier to prepare double-sided reports and longer documents. The standard paper arrangement is 250 sheets main input tray, 1 sheet priority feed tray; 100 sheets output tray. Keep the paper guides aligned to the selected format, and leave clear space around the input and output areas for loading and collecting sheets.
Scanning and copying
The scanning system uses flatbed and adf; up to 300 x 300 dpi (color and monochrome, adf); up to 1200 x 1200 dpi (color and monochrome, flatbed); maximum flatbed size 216 x 297 mm. Copy specifications include up to 600 x 600 dpi; reduction/enlargement 25 to 400%. The flatbed lets you position individual sheets, photos and small documents directly on the glass for a scan or copy.
The document feeder supports standard, 50 sheets; two-sided adf scanning: no. It provides a practical way to process a stack of loose originals. Duplex printing and duplex scanning are separate capabilities, so select the appropriate scan settings for the document.
Connections and workspace
Available connections are USB 2.0; Gigabit Ethernet; RJ-11 fax. Install the HP driver or supported printing software for the intended computer or mobile device. A USB connection serves a directly attached computer, while network connectivity lets compatible devices share access to the printer.
The printer measures 418 x 419.12 x 341.32 mm and weighs ~17.1 kg. Set it on a stable desk or shelf, with enough room to open the scanner lid and reach the supplies area. The four toner cartridges: black, cyan, magenta and yellow system supports routine replenishment as supplies are used.
