The Kyocera ECOSYS MA4500ifx is a monochrome laser multifunction printer for shared office document workflows. It combines A4 printing at up to 45 pages per minute with copying, colour scanning and Super G3 fax.
Printing and paper handling
The print engine produces text and graphics at up to 1200 × 1200 dpi. Automatic duplex printing supports everyday two-sided documents without manually turning the stack. Standard input capacity is 600 sheets, divided between a 500-sheet cassette and a 100-sheet multipurpose tray. Use the multipurpose tray for supported heavier media up to 220 g/m². Optional paper feeders can increase total input capacity to 2,600 sheets; these extra feeders are separate accessories.
Scanning, copying and fax
The 75-sheet reversing feeder handles batches of loose originals and supports two-sided scanning. It reverses the originals rather than capturing both sides in a single pass. At 300 dpi on A4, scanning reaches up to 60 mono or 40 colour images per minute in simplex mode, and 26 mono or 17 colour images per minute in duplex mode. The flatbed accepts individual originals. Copying supports 25–400% zoom, while the built-in Super G3 fax operates at up to 33.6 kbps.
Connections and controls
Connect a computer over USB or share the printer through its Gigabit Ethernet interface. The USB host port supports document workflows using compatible removable storage. A 7-inch colour touchscreen tilts for convenient viewing and provides access to printing, copying, scanning and fax settings. Wireless LAN requires an optional module. AirPrint, Mopria and KYOCERA Mobile Print support compatible mobile printing through the appropriate network connection.
Office installation
The main unit measures 475 × 476 × 575 mm and weighs approximately 23 kg with bundled toner. Allow space around the printer for paper loading, maintenance and operation of the document feeder. Standard memory is 1.5GB, with optional expansion available. The supplied package includes the main unit, starter toner, waste toner box, power cord and setup documentation.
