Nebula Capsule 3 is a portable Full HD projector with Google TV and licensed Netflix support. Its compact Black cylindrical body houses an LED light source, DLP projection system and built-in speaker. The native picture resolution is 1920 by 1080 pixels, with brightness rated at two hundred ANSI lumens by the manufacturer.
The projector supports screen sizes from forty to one hundred and twenty inches with a 1.2:1 throw ratio. The manual recommends positioning it approximately 1.06 to 3.18 metres from a suitable white, flat projection surface. Ambient light and the surface affect the visible picture, so a darker room helps make the most of its portable brightness. Set the unit on a stable surface and leave its ventilation openings clear.
Automatic focus and automatic keystone correction simplify picture setup after positioning. The manufacturer’s Intelligent Environment Adaptation system also supports screen fitting and projection obstacle avoidance. These functions adjust the displayed image; supported settings allow further fine-tuning. A quarter-inch tripod socket provides another placement option using a separately supplied compatible stand.
Google TV brings supported entertainment apps together. Wi-Fi supports both 2.4 and 5 gigahertz networks, and Chromecast built in provides compatible wireless casting. Apps, country availability, internet access, accounts and subscriptions determine which services can be used. The supplied remote includes dedicated service buttons and Google Assistant access. An eight-watt speaker provides built-in sound with Dolby Audio support. Bluetooth 5.1 also supports a separate speaker mode. Physical connections include HDMI input, a USB-A connection for a compatible USB drive, an AUX audio output and USB-C power input. HDMI and external audio cables are separate accessories. Supported input signals are displayed at the projector’s native Full HD resolution.
The rechargeable battery supports up to two and a half hours of movie playback in Eco mode under the manufacturer’s stated conditions. Actual battery life varies with brightness and use. The body measures seventy-eight millimetres in diameter and one hundred and sixty millimetres high, weighing approximately 850 grams. The package includes Capsule 3, power adapter, charging cable, remote control, two AAA batteries and quick-start documentation.
