The Xiaomi Outdoor Camera CW100 Dual uses two fixed camera views to monitor neighbouring outdoor areas with one installation. This UK version supports separate or combined viewing layouts in Xiaomi Home and has a White body with two Black lens panels.
The dual-image resolution is 2304 × 1296, using 3MP sensors and f/1.6 lenses. Wide Dynamic Range processing helps handle different lighting across the scene. A horizontal viewing layout provides almost 180° coverage, with a small overlap between the two images. Infrared lights support dark conditions, while a detected event can trigger supplementary lighting for colour footage.
Person detection, vehicle detection, a virtual fence and configured monitoring events can trigger video and phone notifications. The device includes an audible and visual alarm response. Two-way voice calls are initiated from Xiaomi Home, allowing you to speak with someone near the camera. Enable and adjust the relevant functions after pairing.
Connectivity is Wi-Fi 6, IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax, 2.4GHz; Bluetooth 5.2; 100Mbps Ethernet. The camera works with Xiaomi Home 10.2 or later; Android 8.0 or iOS 12.0 and later. Pair it through the app and choose a position with a reliable network signal; wireless performance depends on the installation and surrounding interference.
Recording options include 16–256GB microSD; paid cloud; NAS. Memory cards are purchased separately, and cloud recording requires a paid service where available. Select the storage method suited to your recording needs and check its setup instructions in the app.
Privacy masking allows selected parts of the image to be excluded at the source. The MJA1 security chipset and encrypted communication form part of the manufacturer’s protection design. The camera supports wall or ceiling installation, and the included three-metre power cord provides reach from the installation point to the power connection.
The body measures 105 × 198 × 71mm and the specified operating range is −30°C to 60°C. IP66 protection applies with correct installation; follow the instructions for the power connection and Ethernet waterproof kit. The package contains the camera, power adapter, waterproof adhesive tape, mounting template, screw kit, network waterproof accessories, attention sticker and user manual.
