Product details
The Xiaomi Mesh System AC1200 1-pack provides 1 White Wi-Fi 5 router for a home network. This UK version includes the matching regional power adapters. The router body has a compact upright design, with internal antennas and dimensions of 89.5 × 89.5 × 153.7mm per unit. The pack size describes the number of routers supplied, rather than the number of connected phones or computers.
The system supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz wireless bands. Published theoretical rates are 300Mbps on 2.4GHz and 867Mbps on 5GHz. The AC1200 name describes the advertised wireless class; it is not a guarantee of internet download speed. Actual throughput depends on the internet connection, receiving device, interference, walls and placement. Each router has two 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet ports with automatic WAN/LAN sensing, plus a power port and a mesh/reset button.
This single router can operate on its own or join a compatible Xiaomi Mesh network when additional nodes are purchased. Factory pre-pairing is specifically for the two- and three-pack kits; it does not apply to this single-unit package. Compatible Xiaomi Mesh routers support wired, wireless or hybrid networking under a unified Wi-Fi name. Roaming also requires appropriate terminal support, including 802.11k/v; results depend on the device and household environment.
Management is available through the web interface and Xiaomi Home or Mi Home on Android and iOS. The system runs MiWiFi ROM and supports WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK and WPA3-SAE encryption. Xiaomi’s smart-device connection and password synchronisation functions require Xiaomi smart devices that support those features. Keep the app and router software updated according to the supplied guidance.
Use each router in a ventilated position within the specified 0–40°C working temperature and 10–90% non-condensing relative humidity. Avoid concealing the units where walls, metal objects or poor ventilation affect wireless coverage or operation. The package contains 1 router; 1 power adapter; one network cable; user manual; warranty notice. Product photos show complete router units and illustrate their shape and ports; the stated pack size determines the quantity included. Follow the supplied manual for the first installation and any later network expansion.
