The Xiaomi Multi-function Camping Lantern combines a primary ambient lamp with a removable secondary flashlight. The two-light arrangement allows the main lantern to stay on a table while the smaller light is taken elsewhere. Rotating the hook releases the secondary light from the top, providing a flexible setup for suitable outdoor and indoor situations.
The primary lamp offers adjustable brightness from six to 230 lumens. Its colour options include cool white, warm white and RGB effects, allowing either useful task lighting or a softer atmosphere. Xiaomi describes adjustable brightness and colour temperature, with direct controls on the lamp and supported smart adjustments through the companion app.
Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0 connects the primary light to Xiaomi Home. The app supports changing colours and setting supported lighting scenes. A compatible phone and supported app version are required, and nearby Bluetooth conditions affect the connection. This is Bluetooth control rather than a promise of independent mobile-data connectivity or remote operation from any distance.
The main light contains a 4800mAh lithium-ion battery rated at 3.69V. It charges through a Type-C connection, with the official specifications listing approximately 210 minutes under the specified conditions. The smaller light has its own 800mAh battery and an approximate 150-minute charging time. Returning the secondary light to the main unit provides its stated automatic charging and light-off behaviour.
The secondary light supplies a listed 120-lumen flashlight output and 70-lumen sidelight output. Its portable hook helps with suitable hanging positions. The lantern’s IP54 rating covers dust and splashes under the manufacturer’s test conditions. It does not mean that the product can be immersed in water or used without care around charging connections.
The complete lantern measures 198 by 114 by 123mm and weighs approximately 565g. The package contains the primary camping lantern, secondary camping flashlight, charging cable and user manual. A power adapter is not included as standard. Follow the manual for charging, cleaning and safe placement, and use a suitable separately supplied adapter. Keep charging contacts dry and check that the secondary light is seated correctly when storing or charging it in the main lantern.
