The Xiaomi Smart Camera C100 is an indoor camera with a wide-angle lens and an adjustable stand. It provides a fixed view of the selected area, with a compact body measuring 69 × 68 × 115mm and a net weight of approximately 170g.
Its 3MP camera records at a published resolution of 2304 × 1296. The 128° wide-angle view and f/1.6 aperture support monitoring a broad part of the room from one position. Low-light colour imaging extends colour viewing when lighting is limited, while 940nm infrared illuminators support black-and-white viewing in darker conditions.
Local human detection, loud-noise detection, crying detection and a virtual fence provide configurable event monitoring. The camera can send notifications and use an audible and visual alarm when the selected conditions are detected. Xiaomi notes that the AI functions are disabled by default and must be enabled in the app. Actual recognition varies with the scene.
Connectivity is Wi-Fi 6, IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax, 2.4GHz; Bluetooth 5.2. The camera works with Xiaomi Home; Android 8.0 or iOS 12.0 and later. Pair it through the app and choose a position with a reliable network signal; wireless performance depends on the installation and surrounding interference.
Recording options include 8–256GB microSD; paid cloud; NAS. Memory cards are purchased separately, and cloud recording requires a paid service where available. Select the storage method suited to your recording needs and check its setup instructions in the app.
Sliding the cover from the top physically shields the lens and stops recording. Privacy masking can exclude selected areas from the image. Local AI processing and encrypted communication support the manufacturer’s privacy design. Two-way calls start from Xiaomi Home, using the built-in speaker and microphone. Supported voice functions require compatible Alexa or Google Assistant equipment.
The camera supports upright, inverted or wall installation using the supplied mounting parts. Rated input is 5V DC at 1A and operating temperature is −10°C to 45°C. The published package contains the camera, charging cable, wall mounting kit, mounting sticker and user manual. Check the manual for power-supply requirements and keep the indoor camera away from conditions that could cause water damage.
