Product details
The Redmi Power Bank 20000mAh 18W is a portable battery with two USB-A output ports and two different input connections. This listing is the Black finish. The body measures 154 × 73.6 × 27.3mm, and its lithium-ion polymer battery stores 74Wh at a nominal 3.7V. Its high cell capacity provides a reserve for charging compatible phones, tablets and other portable devices away from a wall socket.
Each USB-A output supports up to 18W when used individually with a compatible device and cable. The single-port profiles are 5.1V/2.4A, 9V/2A and 12V/1.5A. When both outputs are used together, the specified shared rating is 5.1V/3.6A. The combined mode therefore differs from the maximum fast-charging profile of one port. A connected device only receives the power its charging system supports, and actual charging speed can change with battery level and operating conditions.
The power bank recharges through either its micro-USB or USB-C input. Both inputs support the published profiles of 5V/2.1A, 9V/2.1A and 12V/1.5A, with the manufacturer’s stated maximum recharge power of 18W. The USB-C socket is an input for this model; it is not a USB-C output for charging your phone. Use one suitable input connection and an adapter supporting the required profile. The package includes the power bank, instruction manual and a micro-USB cable.
Cell capacity is 20000mAh at 3.7V, while rated delivered capacity is 12000mAh at 5.1V/3.6A. These figures measure different parts of the charging process. Practical recharge counts depend on conversion losses, the device battery and the chosen connection. Xiaomi’s examples of charging particular phones are laboratory results rather than a fixed number of recharges for every phone.
Double-pressing the battery-check button enables the manufacturer’s two-hour low-current charging mode for suitable headphones, smart bands and other small accessories. Circuit protections monitor temperature, voltage and current and help handle charging faults. Keep the ports free of moisture and debris, choose cables suitable for the intended current and follow the manual for use and storage. Check the battery indication before a journey and recharge the power bank when its remaining capacity becomes low.
